Popularity of CMMI Performance Improvement Framework is increasing at global level and rising continuously

CMMI Appraisals has increased to record high in year 2013. This is due to the fact that more and more organizations are experiencing the benefits of implementing CMMI Framework. CMMI Institute has also conducted a Survey for individuals for rating CMMI based on their experience of implementing CMMI for process improvement in their organizations.

There has been an increase of 11% in year 2013 in the number of CMMI Appraisals from the year 2012. In total there were 1600 appraisals were completed in year 2013, which is the highest number of appraisals done in a year.

For more than 20 years, CMMI has been a de facto standard for implementing new processes and then continually improving processes in an organization.  CMMI Appraisal are used to rate the implementation compliance with respect to the CMMI Model requirements.
