Organizational Performance Management (OPM) is a Process Area at CMMI Maturity Level 5 under Process Management category. OPM helps in achieving the business goals by proactive management of organizational performance.
For implementing OPP in an organization steps are as follows:
On the other hand OPM help in managing optimising the organizational performance by iteratively analysing the aggregated project data (provided by OPP). This involves identifying the gaps in performance against the business objectives, and selecting and deploying improvements to close the gaps.

OPM helps in the improvement at different level including Process, People and Technology. OPP provides data to OPM for improvement in different dimensions in the organization leading to Continual Improvement and Optimization.
