For the above-mentioned question, CMMI consultants may take inputs from the following.

Organizational Process Performance (OPP) process area helps in managing the project quantitatively based on the organizational standard processes and sub-processes and their performance. Also helps in collecting the process performance data, process performance baselines and models in order to support organizational projects.

Activities

Organizational Process Performance (OPP) process area involves the following activities:

  • Based on the business objectives, setting up the organizational goals for process performance and quality in terms of quantitative.
  • Deciding and setting up the processes, sub-processes and measures for process performance and analysis.
  • Setting up Process Performance Baselines
  • Setting up Process Performance Models

Inputs

Following are some of the inputs for the Organizational Process Performance Process Area:

  • Data on Processes and Sub-Processes
  • Past projects performance data collaborated at org level
  • Feedback from Customers, End Users and other Stakeholders
  • Market Trends Analysis Report

Outputs

Following are some of the outputs for Organizational Process Performance Process Area:

  • Organizational objectives for quality and process performance
  • Business Goals to Process Performance Goal Mapping document
  • Plan for Process Improvements
