CMMI Implementation when conducted in an organization for the CMMI SCAMPI Assessment, can leads to various changes in the organization. These changes could be related to people, processes, technologies and techniques available in the organization. So, the important question is how we can measure the effectiveness of these changes arisen due to CMMI Implementation in an organization.
There can be various means by which we can measure the effectiveness of CMMI Implementation in the organization:
Organizational Culture Change
You can use quiz, groups discussions to measure the change in the people towards the processes and their implementation.
Quantitative Analysis
Analysis can be conducted quantitatively project or service parameters like schedule variances, costing, effort, defects number, defects severity and other parameters.
Clients feedback
Client Feedback is the important measure of the effectiveness of the activities performed to improve the quality of the services and products delivered to the client. If clients are happy with your services and products, they will provide good feedback otherwise you will receive bad feedback. Their feedback is directly proportional to the quality of service or product. Feedback can be taken using automated tools, feedback forms (printed/soft copy) etc.
DQS India, CMMI Authorized Partner, provides CMMI services including CMMI Assessment, CMMI Consulting and CMMI Training. We can provide a structured programme to measure the effectiveness of CMMI Implementations. We can provide our input based on the data available in the organization and on the data collected using Online Surveys, Mystery Surveys. A detailed report is complied based on the data collected and provided to the managed with string points and opportunities for improvements.
