Coding is the most important activity for the SDLC. And for many developers it is the only activity that they are responsible for. But why do we need to have quality in coding, when developers can fix the code that they develop. The answer to this lies in the fact that fixing a code is a very costly activity and costs millions of dollars to IT organizations every year.
