For the above-mentioned question, CMMI consultants may take inputs from the following.

Organizational Performance Management (OPM) process area helps in managing the performance of the organization as a whole in sync with the business goals.

Activities

Organizational Performance Management process area involves the following activities:

  • Maintaining Business Objectives
  • Analyzing the Process Performance data collected from organization
  • Identifying potential areas for improvement
  • Short listing improvements by analyzing and validating improvements
  • Selecting and implementing improvements for deployment
  • Deploying improvements by planning, managing and evaluating deployments
  • Evaluating Improvement Effects

Inputs

Following are some of the inputs for the Organizational Performance Management Process Area:

  • Need to improve Business Goals
  • Need to improve Quality
  • Need to improve Process Performance
  • Feedbacks received from Customer, End Users, Internal Users and other relevant stakeholders
  • Improvements suggestions log
  • Organizational Measurement Data
  • Causal Analysis and Resolution records

Outputs
