What is People Capability Maturity Model® (PCMM)?

PCMM, a member of the CMMI product family of process maturity models, is a set of best practices that provide a path to continuously improve organizational workforce capability. PCMM empowers workforce to develop skills that help organization succeed. In today’s world, only way for organizations to succeed is to make the most of their people and PCMM helps organization in achieving this goal.

PCMM helps in:

  • Development of workforce to execute business strategy
  • Identifying priorities to improve workforce capability
  • Integrating improvements in process and workforce
  • Becoming a choice of employees

Objective of People CMM® (PCMM)

Objective behind PCMM is to improve the capability by enhancing level of Knowledge, Skills and Process Ability of workforce.

Workforce capability indicates an organization’s

  • Expected outcome from these business activities
  • Potential to get benefited from investments in process improvement or advanced technology.
