For the above-mentioned question, CMMI consultants may take inputs from the following.

Purpose of CMMI Process Area Organizational Process Performance (OPP) is to manage the performance of processes in quantitative terms. It helps in achieving quality and process performance objectives. It also helps in providing quantitative data related to process performance data, process performance baselines, and process performance models to quantitatively manage the organization’s projects.

Organizational Process Performance (OPP) process area helps in:

  • Identify and establish organizational objectives for quality and process performance
  • Identify and select processes for improvement
  • Set process performance measures for the selected processes
  • Measure and analyze process performance
  • Develop process performance baselines
  • Develop process performance models

Following are some of the inputs for the CMMI – OPP Process Area:

  • Process compliance data
  • Customer Feedbacks
  • Market Trends

Following are some of the outputs for CMMI – OPP Process Area:

  • Organizational objectives for quality and process performance
  • Goal Question Matrix document
  • Processes improvement plan
  • Process performance measures goals
  • Process performance analysis reports
  • Process performance baselines
  • Process performance models

The above is not an exhaustive coverage of the Organizational Process Performance (OPP) CMMI Process Area but is substantive enough for CMMI Consultants to create a good foundation of process performance improvement in an organization.
