Maintaining PAL repository is the primary responsibility of the Software Engineering Process Group (SEPG) Team or the Process Group (PG) Team. SEPG assign the responsibility of updating the artefacts to different members in the organization depending on the artefacts.

PAL in the organization provides guidance to the process implementers (Project Managers, SQA etc.) to help them by learning from past implementations.
